I love the beach in winter. At times I have it all to myself, and wonder why more people don’t bring their picnic lunches down to the shore as much as they do in summer? Yes, it’s cold, and crisp, yet easily challenged with a woolen lap blanket and a windbreaker. A thermos of hot coffee and a baloney sandwich is all that is needed to keep me there for hours. And, of course, my camera and notebook.
